This amplifier was born following a request from the Italian archtop guitar luthier Ivan Cortesi. Ivan had already owned a Reverb Dream 50 head for years, but now he also wanted a small-medium wattage combo that he could leave stable in his laboratory. The initial idea was to create an 02_20RC but, after trying a new amplifier prototype I was working on (for a certain PP), he decided to let himself be guided by enthusiasm and have an amplifier with the following specifications:

Power tubes: 2 x 6V6
Power Scaling
Long spring reverb 
Eminence G12C/S speaker

The chosen name SV6_RC stands for: 'Special 6V6 Reverb Combo'
